Two days out from her father’s state funeral, Summer Warne has posted a new tribute to her famous cricketing dad.
It’s been nearly a month since spin king Shane Warne died suddenly and unexpectedly in Thailand and a week since his family farewelled him at a private funeral in Melbourne.
And as Australia prepares to send him off at a state funeral broadcast from the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday evening, Summer has shared another heartbreaking Instagram post.
“When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind,” reads the anonymous quote Summer shared to her stories reel on Sunday evening.
Summer, 21, has shared a number of photos and videos of Warne and siblings Jackson and Brooke.
After Warne’s death from a suspected heart attack at Koh Samui on March 4, she shared a TikTok compilation of Warne that revealed his lighter, joker side.
Her caption read: “Life will never be the same without you dad.”
