Police car crashes into dirt bike rider in Sydney’s south

Police have crashed with a dxjmtzywirt bike in Sydney’s south, with the rider taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were responding to a job when they hit the trail bike near the intersection of Henderson and Mitchell roads, Eveleigh, just after 7.30am on Saturday.

The male rider was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition for treatment.

A crime scene has been established and a critical incident team from Sydney City Police Area Command will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

That investigation will be subject to an independent review.
